Algarve Senior Bikers celebrated their 15th anniversary with a ride from Boliqueime to the Gaivota home for children and teenagers in Albufeira.

I would like to invite ASB members to celebrate 15 years since I started this group, on Portugal Day in 2010. Please join me for a charity BBQ with the children and teenagers of the Gaivota home in Albufeira.

This year's Spring Tour started with the five ASB members from the Algarve meeting in Sao Marcos da Serra, travelling via Ourique to Castro Verde, led by David Shirley.

The April ride was on Wednesday 30th and started from Sao Marcos de Serra, meeting at the O Cantinho dos Caçadores on the IC1.

Important - I regret that, for personal reasons, I am unable this month to give this talk in Lagoa.  I shall return to the podium in Lagoa on May 27th.

2025 hit the ground running. We started by refreshing our memory about all good things from the coaching weekend in November with Mieneke Klinkert and then we headed straight into another wonderful coaching weekend, this time with musicality judge and coach Emma Shanks. Once again, our heads were full of new revelations about the techniques of singing and performing.

After all the recent stormy weather which caused the postponement of the March ride, Algarve Senior Bikers were able to enjoy a great ride out in the sunshine on March 26th.

The Algarveans have once again delivered a theatrical delight, but this time, they’ve truly outdone themselves with their production of Blithe Spirit. Having regularly impressed with their past performances—always staged with remarkable professionalism for an amateur theatre group—this latest offering stands as their best yet.
