As you will no doubt appreciate, August can be a very hot month in the Algarve.
It was a bit too warm for most of us motorcycle riders to enjoy the usual large monthly ASB group ride. So instead with the much appreciated help of Yves Breyer we organised a social lunch at Moto Clube Faro.
Many thanks to Ze Eduardo and the staff at MCF for their kind hospitality and their generous donation to the ASB charity funds. When added to donations from the 42 members, including some new faces, at the lunch helped raise 276 euros for the Gaivota children's home in Albufeira.
Details of our Sept ride in the Eastern Algarve will be announced soon.
